Overhaul of marine diesel engines

We generally take a few days to a week for an overhaul of your marine diesel, which extends to several weeks for larger diesels. This depends on the condition of the engine, its size, complexity and installation. A reconditioned engine can often last at least 10 years. We are an official Cummins dealer and therefore have all the necessary expertise and experience with this brand in-house. In addition to overhauling your diesel engines, you can also buy refurbished Cummins marine engines directly from us.

What does revision mean?

You can bring the engine in yourself or have it disassembled from your ship by us. After disassembly, we overhaul every part with a careful eye. The components to which this applies:Pistons

piston rings
Liners
bearings
Injectors
Fuel pump
Turbo
Camshaft
Crankshaft

After overhaul, everything is rebuilt with new gasket material and new seals, until everything closes neatly and can handle something again. The parts in contact with cooling water are pressure tested and we reassemble the engine.
